    When Gerties closes the party moves on. Great place!

    This place rocks. I went to college in New Orleans 88-93..this place rocks like the bars in New Orleans used to. Killer band covering Talking Heads the night I was there. Beware of the "fun house" leaning pool table. Locals have a home field advantage on tourons.

    If you want to experience the real Dawson visit the pit after 11pm. Wild out of control bar where anyone and anything goes. Fyi Dont ring the bar bell unless your $$$.

    One-of-a-kind place; over a century old with the warped floors to prove it. Grandfathered liquor license allows them to start serving at 8am!
